Another way of exploring the Northern part of Bali is by incorporating the regular day trip with an extra program of seeing dolphins in Lovina. Compromise your normal sleeping hours to relatively shorter since you have to get yourself up ready for an early private pick-up before the cockcrow only to time perfectly with your schedule so that you won’t miss this fantastic opportunity of seeing : Dolphins swimming freely in the ocean at the sunrise, Banjar Hot Springs, Gitgit Waterfall, Pura Ulundanu/Temple into the lake.

LOVINA DOLPHINS WATCHING
Dolphins can be seen all year round. However, between February and April, the sea becomes turbulent and unfavorable. Therefore, the best time is from May to January. Also keep in mind that July–August and December are the peak tourist seasons in Lovina, so it could be crowded.

BANJAR HOT SPRINGS
Banjar Hot Springs provide a leisure and health-benefiting retreat. The Complex is divided into 4 pool sections with different sizes. Swimming is a kind of relaxation while enjoying the soothing splashed.

GITGIT WATERFALL
Experience the real nature dominated by green big trees with some rice fields bit here and there inside a fabulous gorges. In a few minutes from the start point, where you will walk down a dreamy footpath, you can admire the wonder the picturesque of the landscape offers along the way until you get there, where the waterfall is located. Should you wish to try bathing freely to feel a close engagement with nature, you had better not forget to slip your towel in your bag as well

PURA ULUNDANU/TEMPLE INTO THE LAKE
The first place to stop at when going on the north tour is the iconic lake Beratan, where you can see at same time the legendary floating temple called Ulun Danu temple, which is dedicated for the goddess of prosperity and beautiful serpentine flowerbeds surrounding the temple complexes by the shore.
